Die Firma wurde 1990 von Dipl.Ing. Martin Rein (geb. am 14.12.1957, Urenkel von Ernst Rein, dem Gründer von Droop & Rein Werkzeugmaschinenfabrik 1890) gegründet, 1996 fand die Umwandlung der Einzelfirma in eine GmbH statt.
2005: Anschaffung eines 12t-Gabelstaplers für Schwerlast-Verladungen, innerbetriebliche Transporte, Verlagerungen und Betriebsumzüge, welcher mit einem Tiefbett-Sattelzug zum Einsatzort transportiert werden kann. Weitere vorhandene Hebemittel: 16t-Krantraverse, 6m lang.
Verkauf der 50. Gebraucht-Maschine, davon 1 Fibro-Rundtisch, 1 Maho, 1 Mecof, 2 Heyligenstaedt und 45 Droop & Rein. Die Konzentration auf diesen einen Hersteller kommt nicht von ungefähr. Wir sind aber bemüht, das Angebotsspektrum zu vergrößern.
2006: Verkauf der 50. gebrauchten Droop & Rein-Fräsmaschine und eines Wotan-Bohrwerkes an einen guten Kunden in Portugal.

China-Marts driving rules for beginners, checked out in Shenyang, capital of province Liaoning, in April 2011:
1. Everybody has a certain amount of right of way, depending on the size of his vehicle,
e.g. a wheel loader driving with 50 mph through heavy traffic has 100% right of way. 
2. Wheel loaders have to stop every 2km to unload stowaways from the front shovel.
3. You drive only where there is space.
3a. Where there is no space you honk.
5. Who is not honking gives away his right of way except he drives on the wrong side of the road ore is a three wheeler ore a motorcycle. They can drive whenever they are in front.
6. During the night you never switch on the headlights to save energy you need for the horn.
7. While overtaking uphill with traffic coming towards you, you switch to 5th gear because this must be the fastest, after this you never give up.
8. On red traffic light only red wheel loaders may drive.
9. Of cause some people may be afraid of those strict rules. To make them feel more comfortable, they are allowed to drive in both ways on the sidewalk whenever this is convenient.
10. Also I am happy to inform you, that chinese trucks have very good brakes. Therefor in case of an accident be aware of the wheel loader, which drops down from trailer because of the absence of any load-securing.
11. Conclusion: In China, living is very cheap. Or should I say life?

Maschine des Jahres 2004: 1941 nach Breslau geliefert, wechselte sie kurz darauf die Nationalität. Etwas später sollte sie russisch werden, aber die Demontage mißlang. Das Firmenschild wurde auch nicht zum Souvenir. Aus einem Guss braucht eben keine Schrauben. Also blieb sie standhaft und wurde 2004 produzierendes Mitglied der EU! Dann lief die Garantie ab. Dem jetzigen Besitzer konnte ich ersatzweise 2 gebrauchte D&R verkaufen. In 60 Jahren soll dann einmal nachgefragt werden, ob noch alles in Ordnung ist. Denn zufriedene Kunden kommen irgendwann wieder.
